    No admin fee

I just received a mail from AirAsia that NO ADMIN FEE to all destinations across Asia, Australia and Europe. Starting from today, you’ll no longer need to pay for the admin fee. They’re throwing it in so that customers will enjoy even greater value every single time that fly with AirAsia. This is one of the great news, but H1N1 is spreading all over the world, who wants to travel now?

As for me, I don’t think I will travel to oversea until this virus is fully gone. Hubby told me that we can travel locally. But I don’t want to take the risk as there’re this virus spreading in our country too.

When will this virus gone??? It really affected my hubby’s travel business until it closed down last month.

    Stop Travelling

Since the case of this bug called H1N1, most people are stay back and refuse to go travel. Nah, hubby’s travel shop is affected a lot, I am sure others also the same. What to do, wait till silly bug go off, but don’t know when. Gosh, I can’t go anywhere except stay in Malaysia nowadays. Anyway, it’s best as we can save some money for our new house next year.

My parents thought to go Melbourne, Australia with their friend as to attend his son’s graduation, somemore travel around the city. But my parents kiasi, so am I, I advised them not to go now. Prevention better than cure, right?

    Fly To Taipei

Now you can fly to Taipei from RM101 only.  Too bad that I am late to check my mailbox. It ended yesterday. Anyway, it is still good not to travel overseas in the meantime due to swine flu cases. I love Taipei not because of the food and shopping, but to see entertainment celebrities if possible.

If you will travel to Taipei, you can visit the shopping districts of Dihua Street, Dinghao, RenaiTraffic Circle, Ximending and Xinti District, shop till you drop and spoil yourself silly.

As for food lover, don’t miss all the night markets of Shilin, Shida, Snake Alley, Jaoho, Kungguan and Tunghua for mouthwatering delicacies and superb shopping.

    I can’t wait to go NOW……if can.

    Bayview Beach Resort

Hubby found out a great deal to stay at Bayview Beach Resort, Penang on Perak Sultan’s Birthday. Since our kid loves swimming and beach, so it would be great to stay there a night. The most important is that I want my hubby to have rest and relax trip. He has been very busy with his work and stress, it definitely a good idea for all of us to enjoy our family trip there.

Sitting on the lazy chair and enjoy the sea view is the most relaxation way to relief stress

You can ride on the horse too, but of course you have to pay

    Sunset

Para sailing, I dare not to go for it, I am so kiasi lah

My kid likes the pool much and so am I……

Hubby was so relax as he went for foot massage too. We spent our time just at the resort. It was a fruitful trip for us and we will sure come back again. But I hope to go experience to other resorts Like Park Royal and Shangri-la.

    Hong Kong Attractions

Hong Kong is full of attractions such as The Peak,Ocean Park, Disneyland, Ladies Market, Golden Bauhinia Square and many more. I just back from Hong Kong few days ago. I like to visit Hong Kong when the weather is about 20 degrees which is in month of March, not so hot or cold.

It was a 5 days 4 nights trip. I enjoyed a lot and so do my family. We might go there again but of course not in this year. Let me jot down where I have been visited during the trip before I forgot. Let’s me start on the second day as for the first day, we’re mainly go there to sleep.  LOL!!!

    Golden Bauhinia Square

It situated outside of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Bauhinia is actually a type of flower, and this is also the city flower for Hong Kong. We just spend for not more than 30 minutes there to snap photos.

Repulse Bay/Tsin Shui Wan/ Shallow Water Bay

    A giant “Kwan Yin”

Next, we proceed to Repulse Bay. The bay was also called Tsin Shui Wan or Shallow Water Bay. I was told by the tour guide that it is the best feng shui place in Hong Kong. The beach is clean and the environment is so relaxing. I think that is why many HK entertainment celebrities like to stay there.

    Aberdeen

Aberdeen, home of Hong Kong’s famous floating restaurants and the floating fishing village. We didn’t take a boat to visit the village which is behind the building. But I got to know about the history from our tour guide.  The village still inhabits hundreds of fishing men. Fishing boats ranging from the traditional Chinese sailing boat to the luxuriously furnished modern ship fill the bay.

A bronze status of Oscar Reward

    Jackie Chan’s handprints

    A Symphony of Lights

The Avenue of Stars takes the history of Hong Kong’s film industry and its achieved accomplishments as it main theme. At the entrance to the avenue stands a bronze status of Oscar Reward and a small stage for performance and activities. You can enjoy the Symphony of Lights at 8pm every night.

    Jackie Chan

    David Beckham

    Tiger Wood

Victoria Peak is the highest peak in Hong Kong Island. Visitors can arrive there by tram, bus or car. When you arrive at The Peak Tower,  you may also visit to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.  There you can get up close and personal with your favourite stars. You and your kids will see about 100 wax figures of celebrities that look exactly like the real person.

Hong Kong Disneyland is located on Lantau Island. There are four theme areas in the Hong Kong Disneyland Park, namely, the Main Street, U.S.A, Adventure World, Fantastic World and Tomorrow World. There is a parade which start at 3.30pm every day. Besides that, a firework show in front of the sleeping beauty castle start at 7.30pm every day too.

My kid was so excited especially when we’re in Disneyland. He told me that he wants to go HK again. We had visited quite many places like Golden Bauhinia Square, Aberdeen Village, Repulse Bay, Ladies market, The Peak, and etc. I have updated on my family blog. I will update it in details here when I’m free about each places that I visited.

    Recovered From Sick

I had diarrhoea and headache two days ago. I have no strength to pack my luggage even though the HK trip is just few days away. I slept day and night for a day, and luckily I recovered the next day. Still I don’t have mood and strength to pack my luggage till now. Anyway, I think I still have much time to pack it.

After read through some of the bloggers’ blog who went to HK before and the HK map, I am more understand where I should bring my family go when we’re there. It seems very easy by looking at the map, hopefully we won’t get lose. LOL!!!

I’m very excited with the trip, and so does my kid. He keeps telling me that he wants to go HK and by aeroplane. I get ready with my two cameras, it’s the most important stuffs to me. I am sure I will snap lots of photos. So, stay tuned for my updates about my HK trip.

    Matta Fair 09

Hubby told me that Matta Fair will start on next Friday to Sunday. Nothing to be excited as we have bought our flight tickets to Hong Kong. I wonder if he wants to get any cheap flight tickets to anywhere again. Yes, he asked me if I want to go Macau after we back from our HK trip. Gosh, I stopped him as we want to save more money for our new house. I think we won’t go travel to oversea after our HK trip this year.

Even if I love traveling, but I won’t spend much on it this two years. I know it is very attractive with the travel packages and flight tickets rate.  Well, if you plan for a vacation, don’t miss the chance. It’s very cheap and worth to go for holiday with your family.

Anyway, talk back about my HK trip, I’m planning for our itineries. I don’t think I have much time to shop around after I planned out the itineries. We just have about 2 days to visit and shop around in Hong Kong.

    Vacation Paradise

For those who read my previous posts, you know that I will go to Hong Kong for days with my family next month. It is a holiday trip and not a business trip for my hubby. So, he can relax and enjoy it as much as possible after many hard works these months. That is why we chose light and easy package, afterall we do not want to rush just to visit famous tourists spots.

Of course hubby and I hope to have a perfect and romantic vacation, but with a kid and elderly around us, it is definitely impossible. Well, we can go to Anna Maria Island one day, but I don’t think in this few years time. Sometimes I just think how great if we can have one of the Anna Maria Vacation Rentals, so that we can go for our vacation every year or rent it to the local people. Anyway, it is just my dream.

Take a look at the view of ANNA MARIA VACATION RENTALS, the perfect piece of paradise, I am sure you will attract with it. Frankily, if I were have budget, I will definitely think to buy a property there. Who knows that we can sell off in double or triple price years later?

    Final Decision of HK Trip

After discussed with friend who is very familiar with Hong Kong, we decided not to go Macau but Hong Kong only for our 5 days 4 nights trip. It will be a very rush trip if we go to Macau too. Hubby says that we can go Macau for our next trip. LOL!!!

Since we have elderly, my mother and mother in law going along with us, we better have a light and easy package. We don’t want to take luggages and chase for ferry to Macau while having a kid around. I know it will be very crowded every day from HK to Macau or vice versa by ferry. What for make ourself in trouble. Afterall, 3 days in Hong Kong and 1 day in Disneyland is definitely great for us to walk around.

We have confirmed our package. It includes accomodation, half day tour, tickets for Disneyland. We will stay somewhere around in Tsim Sha Tsui. I really can’t wait to go there. Life is great!

    Beijing Adventure

I know many elderly like to go China. I went to Shanghai with hubby for our honeymoon in year 2005. Frankily, I do not feel like to go China again, may be the attitude of the people there. Anyway, please do not let me spoil your mood to go China, okay?

I got to know that AirAsia X is bringing the best of China to you! AirAsia X is now flying direct to Tianjin from Kuala Lumpur from only RM 199. Get connected to Beijing via Tianjin, only 30 minutes by bullet train. You can book your ticket now.

One place that I really want to go if I change my mind next time is the Great Wall of China, Beijing. Anyway, let me enjoy my Hong Kong trip next month before plan for other destinations. LOL!!!

Famous tourist spots in Hong Kong & Macau

Golden Bauhinia Square , Hong Kong

Ruins of St. Paul Church, Macau

    The Senado Square, Macau

    Disneyland, Hong Kong

    The Peak, Hong Kong

These are the main places that I would like to go when I go to Hong Kong/Macau next month. Due to privacy and on our safety purpose, I won’t disclose our accomodation in Hong Kong and Macau. I will be share more details and everything after we are back from the trip. Ok??? The hotel rates very expensive, even 2 stars hotels cost RM250+. We chose to stay in 4 stars hotels which are about RM400 per night. I hope there is discount for us from hubby’s head office.

Our trip is consider free and easy, just that there is a sit in coach to fetch us to the airport, hotels and tourist spots. We don’t have to rush for MRT or bus or taxi, everything is being arranged well. Hubby’s staff, travel supervisor had given me a list of our iteinery. I thought to cut down some of the places like jewelry shop and chinese herb shop.

    In Discussion About HK Trip

Finally we decided to take up free and easy package when we travel to Hong Kong in March. Hubby will arrange with her staff about the transportation to send us to hotel and airport. We will reach in HK at night, we don’t want to rush for LRT, so it’s better that there is a van stand by to send us to hotel.

It is a must to go Disneyland, Macau and Victoria Peak. There are many other attractions too. I still searching for more information. I’m yet to decide our accomodation. I hope to stay in the centre, where we can easily go for shopping and food.

Going To Hong Kong in March

Hooray, we will go to Hong Kong in about 3 months time from now. I never been to Hong Kong before, same to hubby of course. My kid, mother and mother in law are going along with us too. I have planned this family trip last year once I back from Bangkok. I can’t believe hubby gave me such a surprise.

I still thinking if I want free and easy trip or by package. I do hope to go for free and easy trip, more relax and we will bring kid along, but as you know, accomodation in Hong Kong isn’t that cheap. Anyway, I’m looking and checking the hotel rates and places to visit and will decide it later.

It is a 5 days trip. Since we can get cheap flight tickets through AirAsia, we can’t choose the time. We will reach Hong Kong at night, dinner time. Just reach there and have a rest for the first day. It’s good actually afterall I don’t want to be rushed. I guess all of us will be very tired travel all day and no mood to visit other places too.

I will plan to check in to hotel first. After dinner, may be we can walk around outside the hotel. Hopefully I can find some shopping outlets. I heard from my friend that most shops close quite late at night.

    To be continued…..

A Trip To A’Famosa Resort, Malacca

We celebrated Christmas in A’Famosa Resort. Even though it is the largest water theme park and safari in Malaysia, but I can tell you that I won’t go there again. Why? May be I’ve been to Gold Coast, Singapore and Bangkok for such activities, that’s why it really can’t compare with others. Somemore the food there are lousy and expensive.

    Our accomodation

    Club House

We went to Cowboy Town for Carnival shows after dinner. I didn’t enjoy the show as my kid was afraid of the gun shots when the show began. The show is about 30 minutes, so we missed it. Well, it’s fine for hubby and me thought we also not interested to watch actually.

We brought our kid walked around the cowboy town while waiting for our friends who enjoyed much with the shows.

    Poney…cute?

    Cowboys’ apparels

    Cowboys’ hats

Some photos taken by my friend during the show :

The next day, we went to animal safari. It took about an hour to visit the safari, so fast, right? Actually we can’t wait to go to KL to have a good meal.

I didn’t snap many photos as my camera is powerless, somemore my charger is spoilt. Anyway, save power though the animals almost the same like Bangkok
