My Travel Bay

There are many temples in Ayyuthaya. I just managed to go one of it. During my recent visit to Bangkok, I skipped Pattaya as I just be there for 5 days. May be I will choose to go Pattaya for holiday with my family in my next family vacation.

I guess this temple is not the biggest one in Bangkok.  My hubby seemed bored to visit temple, but as for me it is a must to visit and have a pray to their God.

I paid or donate for 200 bahts just to get the below flower ring to place on one of the god. I wish for health only but not for wealth. :P *slap head*  

After placed it, I hit all the bells. I’m not sure what’s the meaning, but I followed what others did.

Besides that, we donated 3 bags of rices to the temple. Many Thais and tourists donate as much as they can. You can also donate money like below :

If you want to enjoy a romantic dinner cruise on Bangkok’s legendary Chao Phraya River, then it is a must to go for Grand Pearl Cruise. We had to pay for 1700 bahts for each adult and it’s free for kids include buffet. After caught in a bad traffic and went to the wrong pier, finally we managed to get in the cruise.

The food isn’t delicious and not much choices even we paid so expensive. The Tradisional dance ended in less than 10 minutes. The dancers ran here and there, that’s why I can’t snap more photos.

The night view is perfect and awesome, but I don’t have a good camera to snap nice photos. Anyway, it’s no harm to go for a night cruise once even it’s so expensive.

If you go to Bangkok with kids, then you must visit to the Safari World too. Of course it can’t compare with Gold Coast Sea World, Movie World or Dream World. But I felt surprised that Bangkok has such huge Safari, it combined open zoo and marine park. The entrance fee for both park are RM75 and free for kids below 12 years old.

There are many attractions like sea lion show, jungle cruise, bird show, stunt show, elephant show, feeding show.  We missed some shows and just manage to catch up with the dolphin show.  We reached there almost 12pm. well, Bangkok is too big and we have to take an hour or more to reach one place. That’s why we visit to one tourist spot a day as I don’t want to rush especially when you go with kids. 

The zoo is too big, so we need to take a van. We’re so excited especially my kid as he can see the real animals again. This time very near to him. We’re not allowed to go down, just take photos in the van. Anyway, I also don’t want to go down, it’s so hot outside, better stay in and enjoy sight seeing.

I’m frustrated when I hear that there are nothing happened in Bangkok last week. We supposed back from our holiday last Friday. My mind is full of WHY questions even though we have postponed our trip. Gosh, we paid for RM250 per person just for the transmission date.

Actually I don’t have mood to travel there anymore. But since we have paid for much and don’t want waste the money, so I have no choice but to go next month. My friend told me about the bad weather and most of the people having flu and cough there. Anyway, the bugs attack in my hometown too actually.

May be we should get an air filter at home for our health. Germs, mold and bugs wherever that we can’t see them. I will check out for more information through EcoQuest Intl before decide to buy one.

I should be in Bangkok for my holiday next week. But due to Bangkok in the state of emergency days ago, we decided to postpone our trip to end of next month. Better play safe than regret later even though my friends who stay there told me that it’s fine.

We are so excited waiting for the trip, but now have to wait for another month. Gosh, really spoilt my mood to go Bangkok. We have to pay for almost a thousand just to change the date. Really expensive huh ???

I thought to go for a dinner in a cruise on 10 Sept to celebrate birthday for my hubby if we’re in Bangkok. Gosh, I have to plan again for hubby’s birthday celebration on next Wednesday.

We have discussed our temporary agenda last Sunday. So here it is :

Day 1: Airport - Central World - China Town
Day 2: Safari World and Marine Park
Day 3: Dream World
Day 4: Tiger Zoo
Day 5: Shopping - Airport

We will stay at shoppingmum’s house, but she and her family might not be joining us for some days as they just started their business. She will help us to look for a driver and van, if not then we have to take taxi.  Actually I thought to take a tour package, but since kids are going along with us, it is too rush and tired for them. Anyway, we will arrange again.

I will go to Bangkok for holiday with my family and friends in September. We have bought flight tickets but yet for accomodation. We planned to go to Pattaya and stay there for a night too. My friend asked me to search for cheap and nice hotel in Pattaya, Bangkok. Actually we can get help from my hubby’s travel company, but I want to get the lowest rate if possible by myself.  You may wonder why I just need to book accomodation in Pattaya, but not in Bangkok. Well, we will stay at our friend’s house and she will bring us to walk around Bangkok.

We are so excited waiting for the trip and kids are going along with us this time. There are many attractive places like zoo, marine park, crocodile farm. These places are suitable for kids, but I worry about the food there though most of them are hot and spicy. Anyway, I will prepare milk, bread, biscuits for my kid in case the food is not suit him.

September is my travel month for me as I will go to Kuala Lumpur as to attend my friend’s wedding dinner with my hubby and kid once we back from Bangkok. We will stay a night and shop around the next day. Gosh, I’m not only looking for accomodation in Pattaya but Kuala Lumpur too.  

My friend just MSN me to check out the accomodation through Hotels Combined. It is a unique free tool that searches multiple hotel reservation websites like Venere or Quik Book which simultaneously to help us find the lowest rate instantly. They eliminate the need to search major websites one by one in order to compare prices and availability. It save my time and money. I found the cheap and nice hotel in Pattaya, but I need to ask my friends before I book for it. LOL!!!

I really can’t believe when hubby tell me that he has bought flight tickets to Bangkok with me in September. Well, I did say that I want to go to Bangkok one day as my friend will move there with her family next week. Actually the tickets are cheap with RM5 only per pax, exclude airport taxes. LOL!!! After add up the airport taxes, it is RM320+ per pax. I asked hubby to buy another flight ticket as I want to bring my kid along this time. 

Bangkok is a shopping heaven and I wonder if I have time to shop till I drop. I hope to go to Central World, Siam Paragon and Plantinum shopping malls. We will go with friends and their kids too, so my kid has friends to play around. We will stay in Bangkok for 5 days 4 nights, and it is a free and easy trip. I like F&E trip as we don’t have to rush like hell since kids are along with us.

My friend and I so excited waiting for the trip. Gosh, still have 3 months to go !!!
