Sunday in Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands is the largest and most famous hill resort. It is the smallest district in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. The first town from the south is Ringlet, followed by Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Kea Farm, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampong Raja. I went there to enjoy the cold weather with my hubby and kid yesterday.

First, we took our lunch at The Smoke House Hotel & Restaurant. As I know, it is the most expensive hotel and restaurant in Cameron Highlands. The design od the building is so unique just like an old English country houses. The Smokehouse Hotel, however, is not just about the rooms or the gardens but the expensive food.

Next, we stopped at butterfly farm as I want my kid to see and experience the real butterflies which hardly find in Ipoh. I told him that we will go to catch butterflies before we off to Cameron Highlands. He was so excited when he sees the butterflies, but scared to touch them.

We went to Strawberry farm before we back home. It is a must place to go when you visit to Cameron Highlands. My kid is so happy to pluck the strawberries himself. Actually we want to go to BOH tea plantation too, but it’s too late as they close at 4.30pm. Well, we can always travel there as it’s less than an hour journey from Ipoh.
