Travel Tips For Tropical Country
Light attire - ligth fabrics are best for the hot and humid weather. Except for places of worship, shorts and sandals are acceptable public attire.
Wear bright - bright clothes reflect sunlight and keep you cooler throughout the day.
Travel pouch - carry your valuables such as passports, cash and credit cards in a small pouch attached ro the front of your body. Keep copies of your travel documents in your suitcase as a precaution.
Insect repellent - As with any tropical country, mosquitoes love new blood. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent to discourage insects and creams to relieve itchy bites.
Medical card - An essential item in case of a medical emergency.
Water bottle - Drink more to stay hyrated. Stick to bottled and boiled water as a precautionary measure against traveller’s diarrhoea.
Umbrealla - Avoid direct sunlight to prevent dehyration and sunburn.
Swimwear - The pristine breaches like Sri Lanka may be irresistible, even if you had not planned to go swimming.
