My Travel Bay

Yes, I just got back from Hong Kong with family two days ago. It’s a 5 days 4 night trip. We had a great time throughout the trip even it rained early in the morning on the second day, but it stopped when we want to go out. The weather is so nice with the temperature around 20 degrees.

My kid was so excited especially when we’re in Disneyland. He told me that he wants to go HK again. We had visited quite many places like Golden Bauhinia Square, Aberdeen Village, Repulse Bay, Ladies market, The Peak, and etc. I have updated on my family blog. I will update it in details here when I’m free about each places that I visited. 

For those who read my previous posts, you know that I will go to Hong Kong for days with my family next month. It is a holiday trip and not a business trip for my hubby. So, he can relax and enjoy it as much as possible after many hard works these months. That is why we chose light and easy package, afterall we do not want to rush just to visit famous tourists spots.

Of course hubby and I hope to have a perfect and romantic vacation, but with a kid and elderly around us, it is definitely impossible. Well, we can go to Anna Maria Island one day, but I don’t think in this few years time. Sometimes I just think how great if we can have one of the Anna Maria Vacation Rentals, so that we can go for our vacation every year or rent it to the local people. Anyway, it is just my dream.

We celebrated Christmas in A’Famosa Resort. Even though it is the largest water theme park and safari in Malaysia, but I can tell you that I won’t go there again. Why? May be I’ve been to Gold Coast, Singapore and Bangkok for such activities, that’s why it really can’t compare with others. Somemore the food there are lousy and expensive.

We went to Cowboy Town for Carnival shows after dinner. I didn’t enjoy the show as my kid was afraid of the gun shots when the show began. The show is about 30 minutes, so we missed it. Well, it’s fine for hubby and me thought we also not interested to watch actually.

We brought our kid walked around the cowboy town while waiting for our friends who enjoyed much with the shows.

The next day, we went to animal safari. It took about an hour to visit the safari, so fast, right? Actually we can’t wait to go to KL to have a good meal.

I didn’t snap many photos as my camera is powerless, somemore my charger is spoilt. Anyway, save power though the animals almost the same like Bangkok

I thought I won’t go for any vacations till next year, but my friend called me yesterday if I would like to join her and her family to go A Famosa resort in Malacca. After discussed with hubby, we decided to go with them. LOL!!! We will celebrate our Christmas there with our kid. I just think my kid is so blessed than others as hubby and I will bring him along whenever we go travel.

I have gone through their website and found that there are many activities for adults and kids. For example, horse riding, paint ball, microlight, crimson river, paddle boat and etc. Besides that, there are animal world safari, water world, cowboy town. I wonder if 2 days enough for us.

It’s RM138 per adult and free for kids below 12 years old. It’s worth to visit once. But I have checked thru the site, it’s more expensive when we book online. I wonder if my friend is getting the right family package.

There are many temples in Ayyuthaya. I just managed to go one of it. During my recent visit to Bangkok, I skipped Pattaya as I just be there for 5 days. May be I will choose to go Pattaya for holiday with my family in my next family vacation.

I guess this temple is not the biggest one in Bangkok.  My hubby seemed bored to visit temple, but as for me it is a must to visit and have a pray to their God.

I paid or donate for 200 bahts just to get the below flower ring to place on one of the god. I wish for health only but not for wealth. :P *slap head*  

After placed it, I hit all the bells. I’m not sure what’s the meaning, but I followed what others did.

Besides that, we donated 3 bags of rices to the temple. Many Thais and tourists donate as much as they can. You can also donate money like below :

Yippie, my brother helped to get me a cheap room at First World Hotel, Genting Highlands for just RM38.80 per night. We will go there on the 5th Oct, Sunday with my parents too. Since it will be my father’s 58th birthday, so we can celebrate with him in Genting Highlands too. What’s a nice celebration for him!

It’s almost a year that I’ve been there since last December. My kid is so excited when I tell him as he remember the rides in the park only. We will enjoy this coming trip first before off to Bangkok end of the month….LOL!!!

I like travel to places that surrounded by the sea. I feel very calm and relax hearing the waves sound. How about you? I always tell hubby that it will be nice if we can go to Sea Isle City for a holiday one day. Don’t know where is the place? It is a city in New Jersey, United States. It is about 5 days more that I will fly to Gold Coast for vacation with hubby.  It’s autumn and the weather over there is perfect right now, a nice temperature with the highest 24° and the lowest 13°. I hope there is not much changes for the weather when I go there next week.  

I started to pack my luggage, and my mother reminded me as to bring more jackets and sweaters. She worries if I catch a flu. Well, I have listed down some stuffs that need to buy and bring along for this trip. I try not to bring too many luggage, hopefully I can pack all stuffs in one.

I’m seaching for more information about Gold Coast so that we know where we go during the 2 free and easy days. The most important is seach for the famous shopping malls. LOL!!! But I don’t think I will shop like freak as the AUD currency is same with USD.

I have to rush all my pending tasks this few days. Geee…..can’t earn much this month, but it’s fine for me though I have no mood for it. My heart is in Gold Coast now….. I’m sure I will miss my son very much.
